Andy founded Pineapple out of a passion to solve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by creating new business models that can positively transform markets.  He develops Pineapple's impact, growth and partnership strategy by connecting up all things sustainable.


With 20 years experience of launching, scaling, buying and selling sustainable businesses.
Andy previously led part of the Sustainability Business Unit at Schneider Electric. He advises on a number of boards tackling sustainability issues, including The Responsible Business Council, European Emissions Trading Group, United Nations Global Compact, The Centre for Business Innovation and a number of innovative sustainability tech companies.

Adam Swash

Adam joined Pineapple to explore sustainable development and partnerships to create positive impact. He looks after the research and data analysis, strategic management and business development within Pineapple.

Adam is a research and strategy specialist with extensive experience with innovation, growing strategic partnerships, business research, analytics and planning for SMEs and large corporations. Previously the Head of Strategy and Research at Experian, he is skilled in connecting and supporting local and national challenges with data, using this to advise and support policy strategy and making.  An advocate for creating innovation, Adam leads the Corporate Venturing Leadership Forum at Centre for Business Innovation.

Senior Consultant

Danya Hannah

Danya was inspired by Pineapple’s ambition to solve world problems through changing market dynamics! ​

 

Danya spent 10+ years in commercial roles, mainly in the media but also for family offices globally. She forged partnerships at Secret Cinema, produced TV adverts for blue chip FMCG brands, and secured international distribution deals for filmmakers at prestigious arthouse film markets.

 

 Due to seismic changes in the film industry, Danya decided to hone her business acumen and leadership qualities, and ultimately pivot into a career where she could have direct social and environmental impact. She pursued an MBA (winning a scholarship to Warwick Business School) where she specialised in strategy and entrepreneurship, coming in the top 10% of the class. She consulted several tech startups, before becoming partnerships manager at a cleantech startup developing an innovative, omni-directional wind turbine. She met Andy ‘hustling’ at London Climate Action Week and joined Pineapple soon after as a consultant.

Founding Employee & Community Management Executive aka "The Organiser"

Catherine Chan

Catherine is responsible for managing the community that Pineapple interacts with. Her role involves coordinating and collaborating the operational and strategic activities of the team. 

​

She joined Pineapple at the start of 2017 to support in administrative, business development and market research and analysis as we were in start-up mode. Since then, she has contributed to the development and use of Pineapple’s framework and managed Pineapple’s B Corp certification. Prior to Pineapple, she interned for a vintage boutique in creating a start-up business for a sustainable fashion clothing line, combining the love and longevity of vintage fashion designs and applying circular economy methods in the supply chain to close the loop in fast fashion.

Marketing Advisor

Liberty was part of co-finding Pineapple, in creating the brand as we know today and developing the marketing strategy. She is now part of the advisory board.

Liberty is a brand, marketing and communications specialist with 20 years' experience of helping Small-to-Medium Enterprises and NGOs across a variety of sectors, including property, impact investment, human rights and the environment.

Julia Rebholz

Julia has been a supporter and advisor to Pineapple since we started up. She guides us on our business strategy and knows the right people for us to have a chat with.

Julia is experienced in strategy, M&A, large scale transformation and sustainable business. She has held senior positions at Centrica and led the £2.2 billion purchase of British Energy and created the first energy corporate impact fund Ignite, investing £10m over 10 years in social energy entrepreneurs that has now been scaled to £100m. She is recognised as a pioneer in Sustainable Business by writing the practitioners guide to corporate innovation, investment and collaboration and is a senior advisor to Blueprint for Better Business.

Paul White

As a co-founder of Pineapple, Paul is instrumental to helping social purpose businesses to understand and build their financial models and accounting processes.

​

Paul has 15 years experience of working in high-level finance roles, where he led the transformation growth of Opus Energy to manage financial risk, improve processes and technology for the group. This resulted in an increased turnover over 10 years to £610m from £70m. He set up his own finance consultancy, White Finance, to offer his extensive financial, analytical, management and business development skills to a broader range of businesses, including Summit Therapeutics.

Camilla Lovell-Hoare

Camilla oversees Pineapple’s portfolio businesses legal, risk and regulatory frameworks that are applicable to all business sectors - and has made the choice to use her skills for the benefit of social purpose businesses.

​

Camilla has extensive expertise in business regulatory affairs, corporate and IP law, family law, biochemistry and pharmacovigilance, with particular emphasis on litigation and complex financial negotiation. She was an Associate at Penningtons Manches LLP and Senior Regulatory Officer for Chiltern International.
