Pineapple CoRE expands the Decarbonisation Collaboration announcing the addition of DCC, EVORA and Pathogen Reduction Solutions (“PRS”) to the Collaboration to Accelerate Decarbonisation in the Built Environment
DCC allows access to its solar-as-a-service funding announced in September 2024 to help unlock decarbonisation projects for the clients of the CoRE partnership
Integrated finance and technology unlocks scalable, cost-effective decarbonisation
CoRE addresses the three main barriers to decarbonisation: access to affordable finance, skills shortage and fragmented supply chains
London, United Kingdom: today announced the addition of new members to Pineapple CoRE, a strategic collaboration designed to accelerate decarbonisation across the commercial and industrial property sector.
These include:
DCC – a leading seller, marketer and distributor of multi-energy solutions, which provides secure, cleaner and competitive energy with leading market positions across 12 countries and operates across complementary businesses: Solutions, Mobility and Energy Management Services.
EVORA – a leading sustainability advisor, providing comprehensive, industry-leading climate solutions for real asset investors; and
PRS – the world’s leading UVC solution for commercial air handling, transforming Indoor Air Quality and energy efficiency worldwide.
This is in addition to the founding members of Pineapple CoRE - Signify, the world leader in lighting, Pineapple Partnerships, the systems change focused consultancy, and Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation - announced in June 2025.
Adding further impact to the CoRE proposition, DCC is committing £50 million of funding to support accelerating decarbonisation projects. The fund will help unlock many projects that are currently on hold due to macro-economic stresses and financing constraints.
Expanding CoRE ensures that the group is able to deliver against all aspects of decarbonisation in the built environment from DCC’s coverage of retrofit technology - solar, EV chargers, heat pumps and more - to PRS’s unique and patented UVC air cleaning solution with EVORA’s integrated consulting, managed service and software solutions for sustainable real estate.
Together, CoRE delivers a wide range of solutions that will be used to deliver a turnkey pathway for property owners and operators to overcome common barriers to decarbonisation - access to finance, fragmented supply chains and skills shortages.
Commenting on DCC adding its solar-as-a-service offer to the partnership, David Taylor, Commercial Director, DCC said
“DCC is excited to further enhance its presence in the sustainability market with its inclusion in the Pineapple CoRE collaboration. DCC sees providing funding from its solar-as-a-service offer as fundamental in supporting clients unlock decarbonisation projects, reduce energy usage and pay less for their energy. DCC is a leading provider of solar and energy transition services across Europe and collectively, DCC businesses have installed over 3000MW of power across Europe. We are excited to be able to contribute more, through Pineapple CoRE.”
Commenting on developing collaboration, Rupert Snuggs, Managing Director, CoRE said “We are delighted to be able to support our clients with decarbonisation funding from DCC as well as welcoming DCC, PRS and Evora to Pineapple CoRE. We now cover a broad and deep range of decarbonisation services and technologies which will help our clients accelerate delivery.
