We are excited to announce our Pineapple Homes project with our lead partners Centrica, NatWest and Places for People is featured in the United Nations' Partnership Snapshot report.
The report details how the power of a partnership can be reached in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The snapshot of partnership led initiatives serve as a catalyst for collaborative, purpose-driven partnerships that go beyond the capability and scale of a single organisation acting alone.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, represents one of humanity’s most ambitious commitments and is the closest thing that the world has to a strategy. With just five years remaining until 2030, progress toward achieving the SDGs is alarmingly off track. Without transformative investments and scaled-up collective action, the SDGs risk becoming unrealised aspirations.
The UN Partnership Snapshot emphasises the role of partnerships in achieving the SDGs and follows work that Pineapple is collaborating with the UN and others on to help align organisational benefits and behaviours to deliver shared buy-in when building and participating in effective partnerships that contribute to a more sustainable future.
